Advocates work in partnership with the people they support and take their side.

Cornerstone provide 1 to 1 independent Advocacy to hundreds of people throughout West Essex.

We also run Self Advocacy Groups where people can:

• Meet other people with similar interests
• Discuss issues affecting their lives
• Talk about things in a safe place
• Learn new skills and gain confidence to speak up for themselves
• Talk to their Members of the Essex People's Parliament and other guest speakers
• Hear about what is going on in the local community
